Pleasure Vacation for Advanced
Müllerthal Region wins Dexia BIL/ONT Innovation Award of Tourism 2011!
With the project «Pleasure Vacation for Advanced» the Tourist Board of the Region Müllerthal – Luxembourg’s Little Switzerland has won Luxembourg’s Innovation Award of Tourism 2011! The project was submitted in category 2 (innovative touristic projects worked out by agencies of the state or the local authorities). After 2010 (the Mullerthal Trail Project), it is the second time that the Müllerthal Region wins this award.
The all-inclusive packages «Pleasure Vacation for Advanced» appeal to senior citizens who would like to spend a varied, three-day-long holiday in the Müllerthal Region. The program features guided hikes and tours of the main historic sites, introductory courses in Nordic Walking, water gymnastics, visits at the local producers’, and … .
The hotels, where the all-inclusive packages can be booked from the beginning of 2012, are Hotel Dimmer in Wallendorf-Pont, Hotel Brimer in Grundhof and Hotel Belair in Echternach.
Coach transfers between the hotels, respectively to the different activities and the presence of a guide during the three days guarantee the greatest possible comfort to the guests. The guests are of course welcome to arrive a day earlier and/or leave a day later. The all-inclusive packages are offered at the end of June and at the end of September.
A flyer with information about the new all-inclusive packages for active, senior travellers will be published in January 2012.
