A musical stage road movie based on the Brothers Grimm fairy tale in the version by Matthias Schönfeldt and llja Pletner.
A production of the ATZE Musiktheater Berlin.
Hans receives a lump of gold as a reward for seven years of work (with an average head circumference, that's 75-80 kilograms!) and sets off on his journey. On the way he meets various people who invite him to barter: his gold for a horse, the horse for a cow, the cow for a pig, the pig for a goose and the goose for a stone. He is pleased with each exchange, as they all confirm him a good deal. When at the end the heavy stone falls into a well, Hans feels happy and free of all burden.
The philosophical mind game becomes a pleasure for small and big spectators. Hans starts in a Rhönrad, which can stand for the course of the world, but also Fortuna's wheel of fortune.
