Local hiking trail - L1
This short hiking trail is also highly recommended for families with children.
The trail starts at the tourist info and leads, through the Mersch street, up towards the castle where you benefit from a beautiful view on Larochette and its surroundings. The castle is accessible to the public and can be visited. It continues through the forest, with some rock formations, and leads to the youth hostel. The return to the town hall is on the Osterbour street.
The castle is open daily from 1st April to 31st October from 10 am - 6 pm.
