National hiking trail "Fred Welter"
General information
Taking this footpath you will discover the exceptional beauty of the naturally rugged landscape of the Mullerthal. Magnificent rock formations, some of which owe their names to legends, like the “Keltenhiel”, “Ramelay” and “Daxelay”, never cease to enthral walkers. With just a touch of imagination, you can see fantastic figures in these rock faces which will leave an unforgettable impression. As for the “Kohlscheuer” fissure, inside which it is pitch dark, you can either bypass it or enter it, in which case make sure you have a torch.
