Explore the alternative electricity production in Luxembourg with an e-bike or touring bike: The cycle track leads past the interactive Musée Tudor that features electricity and lead accumulators. It connects all the picturesque villages of the Rosport-Mompach municipality with the city of Echternach, which was the first city in Luxembourg to be equipped with electrical lighting. The cycle track passes through the valley of the Sûre and past the dam and electricity plant in Rosport. It then takes you up to the plateau with beautiful views and the striking wind turbines on the hills Burer Bierg and Pafenbierg.
The Tudor Tour is signposted in both directions and runs partly on the national cycle tracks PC2 Echternach and PC3 Des Trois Rivières. E-bikes are recommended, but you can also ride the tour on a touring bike.
Sights: Tudor museum in Rosport, hermit’s chapel “Girsterklaus”, “Kulturhaff Millermoler” (tea and other local products) in Hinkel, Echternach (lake, gastronomy, culture).
