Set on the market square of Luxembourg's oldest town.
The hotel, which was built in the 19th century, is located in the centre of Luxembourg's oldest city, directly on the market square in Echternach. Due to its central location, the hotel used to be called "Hotel de la Place".
Guests appreciate the proximity to historical highlights such as the basilica, the former Benedictine abbey and the rococo pavilion in the municipal park. Routes 1 and 2 of the Mullerthal Trail and other local hiking trails are within easy reach. The lake of Echternach is just under 2 kilometres away on foot. The city bus takes you there free of charge.
The rooms of the hotel are modern. Many offer a view of the market square and one of the most historic buildings in Luxembourg's oldest city, the Denzelt.
Very interesting for hikers: the restaurant is open every day from 12 noon until 9 pm. A daily menu is offered from Monday to Friday. Traditional Luxembourgish, French and Portuguese dishes characterize the menu.
