Geo-Pad Hëlt

On a guided tour, visitors explore the Geo-Pad Hëlt on the prominent hill within the loop of the Sûre near Rosport. Along the route, 11 information panels provide fascinating insights into the geological formation of the region, when today’s Mullerthal Region was still covered by a sea.

The guide leads the group through forests with impressive dolomite rock formations, past fossil remains and offers beautiful views of the valley of the Sûre. Particular emphasis is placed on the landscape diversity between the cool northern slope and the almost Mediterranean southern slope with dry stone walls, vineyards and rare plant species.
