The Local Hiking Trails R5 and R6 start directly at the church. The R5 leads mainly along natural paths through the surrounding forests. The shorter R6 combines sections through forests, meadows and fields and passes a picnic area with panoramic views.
The Mullerthal Trail ExtraTour B can also be started in Bigelbach. The circular hike leads from Bigelbach through a forest area onto the Beaufort plateau and offers extensive views of the Our and Sûre valleys along the way.
