For hikers, Blumenthal is an important connection point in the region’s trail network. Route 3 of the Mullerthal Trail passes through Blumenthal and continues from here through the Marscherwald towards Müllerthal. Blumenthal also provides a connection to ExtraTour D of the Mullerthal Trail.
Blumenthal can also be used as a starting point for ExtraTour D. The route leads through varied woodland and rural landscapes via Junglinster and Bourglinster towards the Grünewald forest near Luxembourg City.
Thanks to its location on the Mullerthal Trail and amid extensive forests, Blumenthal is a peaceful starting point for discovering the region on foot.
