Bollendorf-Pont is a village in the municipality of Berdorf, situated directly on the Sûre River, which forms the border between Luxembourg and Germany here. A bridge connects the village directly with Bollendorf on the German side. The river valley and surrounding wooded slopes shape the landscape.
Several hiking trails start directly in Bollendorf-Pont. They lead along the Sûre, through forests and up into the characteristic rock formations of the Mullerthal Region. The Local Hiking Trail B17 also offers a cross-border circular hike through Luxembourg and Germany.
Thanks to its location right on the border, Bollendorf-Pont is also an ideal starting point for combining hikes and excursions on the German side of the Sûre with a stay in the Mullerthal Region.
