The Local Hiking Trail J24 starts directly in the village. The circular trail leads through the mixed “Déckt” forest, past small ponds and then across fields and meadows, passing the Donatus Chapel before returning to Eschweiler.
Between Eschweiler and Rodenbourg, the “Op der Déckt” Comfort Hiking Trail offers an additional hiking experience. The short, well-developed trail is also suitable for people with reduced mobility, seniors and families with pushchairs. Along the way, it passes small ponds and a viewpoint overlooking the open landscape.
