Givenich is the starting point of the local M2 hiking trail. The circular walk leads across the Burer Bierg and offers wide views over the surrounding landscape, towards Boursdorf and the pilgrimage chapel of Girsterklaus, as well as across to neighbouring Germany. Part of the route follows the Mullerthal Trail.
The Auto-Pédestre Moersdorf also passes directly through Givenich. After climbing from the Sûre valley, the hiking trail reaches the plateau and continues through the village, across open fields and into the Härebësch forest.
