Godbrange

Godbrange is a rural village in the municipality of Junglinster and a good starting point for hikes. Several local circular trails lead through forests and open landscapes and past traces of the area's history.

Godbrange is a village in the municipality of Junglinster, situated in the varied landscape in the south of the Mullerthal Region.

Several local hiking trails start near the church. They lead through the open countryside around Godbrange and into surrounding forests such as the Schwäibësch and Härdchesbësch. In the Schwäibësch, a small forest pond and a rock formation that was already used as a shelter in the Stone Age can be discovered.

The J17 and J19 hiking trails through the Härdchesbësch are particularly interesting. Neolithic grinding marks can be found on the rocks, as well as a Celtic cult site. The J19 also passes small ponds known as “Mardellen” and the Härdcheslee, with its Gallo-Roman monument carved into the rock.

With its hiking trails, Godbrange combines nature experiences with traces from different periods of the region's history.
