Grundhof

Where? L-6360 Grundhof

Grundhof is idyllically situated at the confluence of the Black Ernz and the Sauer and, with its wooded valleys, is a beautiful starting point for exploring the varied landscapes of the Mullerthal Region.

Grundhof is a small village in the valleys of the Black Ernz and the Sauer and belongs partly to the municipalities of Beaufort and Berdorf. Just north of the village, the Black Ernz flows into the Sauer. Surrounded by wooded slopes and the characteristic landscapes of the Mullerthal Region, Grundhof offers a particularly peaceful setting close to nature.

Its location makes Grundhof an interesting starting point for hiking. The Auto-Pédestre hiking trail Grundhof starts directly in the village and initially follows the Sauer. The route then leads through the forest, the Millebaach valley and the valley of the Black Ernz before returning to the starting point.

Grundhof can also easily be included in a tour through the region. The scenic route through the valley of the Black Ernz leads from the central part of the Mullerthal Region down to Grundhof and continues along the Sauer towards Echternach.

With its location between river valleys and forests, Grundhof is a peaceful starting point for discovering the natural landscapes in the east of the Mullerthal Region.
