Rodenbourg is a rural village in the municipality of Junglinster in the south of the Mullerthal Region. Fields, meadows and small wooded areas characterise the surroundings of the village.
The Local Hiking Trail J23 starts directly in Rodenbourg. This approximately 8.4-kilometre circular hike leads through meadows and fields towards Ernster and continues via Gonderange. It then passes through Gehaansräich and a wooded area, alongside a small forest pond, before returning to Rodenbourg.
The accessible hiking trail “Op der Déckt” is located between Rodenbourg and Eschweiler. This approximately 1.5-kilometre barrier-free trail is particularly suitable for people with reduced mobility, older visitors and families. Rest areas and a detour to the “Mardellen” complement this short walk.
