Stegen is a rural village in the Aerenzdallgemeng, surrounded by fields and forests and a great starting point for hikes through the peaceful landscapes of the Mullerthal Region.

Stegen is a rural village in the Aerenzdallgemeng, set amid a varied landscape of fields, meadows and forests. Its peaceful surroundings are ideal for discovering the quieter side of the Mullerthal Region on foot.

The Local Hiking Trail E8 starts opposite the church in the village. This circular route of around six kilometres initially leads through the open countryside around Stegen and offers beautiful views towards the Éislek. It then continues through the Gebranntebësch and Groussreiserbësch forests. A small pond with benches and a picnic area provide pleasant places to take a break.

Regional products can also be discovered in Stegen. Bio-Haff Baltes produces, among other products, cheese made from its own organic milk and represents regional and organic farming.
