Ernzen is a small village in the municipality of Larochette, located south of Larochette in the Mullerthal Region. Its peaceful surroundings are characterised by fields, meadows and woodland.
The Local Hiking Trail L3 leads from Larochette through Ernzen towards Meysembourg. This varied circular hike combines wooded sections with open countryside and passes Meysembourg Castle. Along the way, there are extensive views over the surrounding fields.
Parts of the hiking trail also run close to the former route of the “Jhangeli” railway, which once passed through this landscape.
