Scheidgen is a village in the municipality of Consdorf, surrounded by extensive forests, impressive rocky landscapes and open fields. Its varied surroundings make it a great starting point for hiking in the Mullerthal Region.

The Auto-Pédestre hiking trail Scheidgen starts directly in the village and leads through the characteristic rocky landscape of the surrounding area. It passes through the Ponteschgronn and by the Holschent towards the Kaachelskapp. Several kilometres of the route follow the Mullerthal Trail.

Other hikes from Scheidgen lead to striking rock formations such as Dachselee and Härgottskapp, offering different ways to discover the forests and rocks around the village.

With its location between rocks, forests and open landscapes, Scheidgen offers a variety of opportunities to explore the Mullerthal Region on foot.
