Wallendorf-Pont lies in the east of the Mullerthal Region directly on the Sûre and the German-Luxembourg border. The German village of Wallendorf lies directly opposite. Nearby, the Our flows into the Sûre, bringing together two of the characteristic river valleys of the area.
Wooded slopes and the two river valleys shape the landscape around the small village. The border region around Wallendorf and Hoesdorf also played an important role during the Second World War and can now be explored along the cross-border Remembrance Trail.
For cyclists, the national cycle route PC3 follows the Sûre through Wallendorf-Pont towards Reisdorf and Echternach. It forms part of the Three Rivers Cycle Route, which follows the Moselle, Sûre and Our rivers.
