Regional tourism master plan

In times of dynamic change, the constant professionalisation of the tourism sector and increased guest expectations, a future-oriented strategy as well as offers and products in line with the market are the basis of successful tourism work. In view of current events and debates, the focus of tourism is also shifting to the issues of sustainability and resource conservation. With the successful application of the Natur- & Geopark Mëllerdall as a UNESCO Global Geopark, a first step was taken in the right direction. Along with all the service providers, the partners and inhabitants, a strategy and positioning for the future has been established, as well as the definition of thematic priorities for touristic development.

The tourism master plan defines the following content:

  • Analzsing of the touristic status quo
    Service providers, tourism offers, tourism infrastructure, organisation and marketing, superordinate structures and potentials
     
  • Defining service providers, tourism offers, tourism infrastructure, organisation and marketing, superordinate structures and potentials
    Future positioning, derivation of tourism themes, tourism products
     
  • Defining tourism measures and implementation guidelines
    Approaches and guidelines for implementation work, recommendations, communication and organisation
