After years marked by difficult challenges, both personally and globally, Nicole Bausch (Nicool) felt the desire to transform these burdensome experiences into an artistic work - a kind of musical catharsis. In search of an instrument that is both gentle and subtle in order to give voice to her emotions, her choice naturally fell on the piano.

She got in touch with Luca Sales, a former schoolmate who, after completing his jazz piano studies in Brussels, has established himself as a pianist.

This project was born from the desire to share the beauty and power of music while addressing important themes of life that are sometimes difficult to express. Liewen is a project that brings together Nicool’s lyricism and Luca Sales’ compositions - moving, honest, and intimate: the common thread of the project.
