Discover all facets of the small Luxembourg Switzerland in one route: Explore the unique landscape along the Sauer and on winding paths through woods and rocks!
The first 25 km of this route lead leisurely and flat along a bike path along the Sauer and Moselle rivers. In Mertert, the route leaves the bike path and leads over a little-used side road through Manternach and the romantically wild valley of the Syr to Biwer. Then follows a long, steady climb to Consdorf. A fast descent takes you through wooded and rocky sections along a country road to Echternach. After an extra lap around Echternach Lake, the route ends after an eventful 59 km at the starting point in Echternach. In the abbey town, numerous cafés and restaurants invite you to a cozy conclusion of the route.

The interactive "Musée Tudor" about electricity in Rosport or the Girsterklaus Marian pilgrimage chapel near Hinkel are only a few hundred meters off the route. In Mertert, the route leaves the bike path and leads over a little-used side road through Manternach and the romantically wild valley of the Syr to Biwer. Then follows a long, steady climb to Consdorf. A fast descent takes you through wooded and rocky sections along a country road to Echternach. After an extra lap around Echternach Lake, the route ends after an eventful 59 km at the starting point in Echternach.
