Race bike tours Visit Luxembourg
Description
Except one more strenuous slope, this easy tour is suitable for beginners.
The tour starts in Bech and leads through an open countryside among small rural villages. Behind Dickweiler, it leads past the beautifully situated chapel of Girsterklaus where you can have a break and admire the impressive view. From there, the tour continues downhill into the valley of the Sûre and the next 12 km run quietly next to the Sûre until Echternach. Behind the abbey town, which is worth a stop, comes the hardest part: a 5 km long slope up to Berdorf. The effort is worth it because the tour passes next to famous sandstone formations like the "Perekop". Once on top of the plateau, you continue almost straight until Consdorf and from there on minor and major roads back to the starting point of Bech.
