The route leads through the Müllerthal region – Little Luxembourg Switzerland, past impressive rock formations, through shady forests and valleys.

You travel through the east of Luxembourg, the Müllerthal region – Little Luxembourg Switzerland, through charming and well-maintained villages. The start is in Luxembourg's oldest town, Echternach, with its many architectural highlights, the quaint market square, and the Rue de la Gare for strolling. Along sandstone rock formations, the geological highlights of the Mëllerdall UNESCO Global Geopark, it continues to the castles in Beaufort and Larochette, where you should plan a bit more time than just for a photo stop. Bourglinster and its castle impress with medieval flair. Across plateaus, past blooming meadows and fields, it returns to the abbey town of Echternach.

The Mëllerdall circular route is not individually signposted. For large parts, the route follows the course of the "Grand Tour du Luxembourg".

The route leads through the following towns: Echternach, Berdorf, Mullerthal, Christnach, Beaufort, Reisdorf, Folkendange, Nommern, Larochette, Heffingen, Fischbach, Bourglinster, Junglinster, Mompach, Echternach.
