The owner of an incomparable career, looking toward the future with the enthusiasm of someone who knows she still has something new and special to offer: Ana Moura released her seventh studio album in 2022. Casa Guilhermina was the album that revealed a reborn and versatile artist - one whom Portugal and the world have learned to love and celebrate.
Ana Moura emerged renewed, multifaceted, and deeply aware of the diverse traditions that have shaped her - while also being eager to explore the best that the present has to offer. Casa Guilhermina was the first album for which Ana Moura took on the responsibility of writing, giving voice to what she feels and has expressed in her own words.
Several songs from the album stood out and became radio and streaming hits: “Andorinhas,” with its call for freedom; “Jacarandá,” an ode to Prince; the passionate “Agarra em Mim” with Pedro Mafama; and the fiery “Arraial Triste.” With Casa Guilhermina, the record‑breaking artist brought us a home with open doors, a richly set table, warm smiles, and vivid memories.
In 2021, Ana Moura was already the most-streamed female artist on Spotify in Portugal. The following year, Casa Guilhermina. reached number 1 on the national sales charts and received a Gold certification. The song “Andorinhas” won “Best Song” at the 2022 Golden Globes and received the awards for “Best Music Video” and “Best Female Artist” at the 2022 Play Awards.
Late last year, Ana Moura released “Lá Vai Ela,” her first song after the success of Casa Guilhermina.. This year, she followed it with “Lá Vai Ela (Remix),” created in collaboration with MJ Nebreda - proof of the disruptive and distinctive evolution of the artistic path she has carved so far.
