A fifteen-year stay in East Tennessee - including several years as a full-time firefighter -allowed his transition from alternative rock to Americana to develop organically. Recorded in Nashville together with Tom Bukovac, a four-time “Guitarist of the Year,” the result is a collection of songs that combine depth with radio-friendly clarity.

Alongside his solo career, Sam Bettens remains part of K’s Choice, with whom he made international rock history.
