GABRIELLE CAVASSA
Born in Escondido, California, to a family of Italian heritage, Gabrielle Cavassa began listening to records “obsessively” at an early age. Largely self-taught, she developed a unique vocal style that would later define her artistic identity. Cavassa earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music from San Francisco State University, but emphasizes that her “real education” came from the Bay Area music scene. In 2017, she moved to New Orleans, where she continued to hone her craft in local clubs. In 2020, Cavassa independently released her self-titled debut album, produced by her longtime collaborator Jamison Ross. In 2021, she was crowned the winner of the prestigious International Sarah Vaughan Jazz Vocal Competition. Her guest appearance on Joshua Redman’s 2023 album where are we, released by Blue Note, prompted DownBeat magazine to describe her as “a star in the making.” Stereophile. wrote: “For many, the revelation of this album will be Cavassa. Her voice gets under your skin. She is distinctive yet unwavering in her clarity, and almost physical in her intimacy … her intuitive interpretations and captivating voice make you sit perfectly still in your chair.”

STELLA COLE
Hailing from Illinois, Stella Cole celebrates the legacy of the Great American Songbook, reinterpreting its standards in her own distinctive way. Having grown up with classic musicals, the singer found fame through a medium unknown to her idols: social media. A platform – and above all, a talent – that has proven its worth: Stella Cole has amassed more than 1.5 million followers across all platforms, as well as 250,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. Her third project, It’s Magic, released by Universal Music last August, explores vintage-inspired love songs. The album was co-produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Matt Pierson, whom she met after moving to New York, just as her success was beginning to take off.
