Description

Local hiking trail - J18

The varied hiking trail Walddëstelpad got its name because of the exceptionally high number of holly trees along the way. The path leads past the straw bale house of the forester on Schiltzbierg back to the starting point through romantic forests. The section through a charcoal kiln, a bloomery model and a rocky roof reminds of the historical past of the region that had been populated since ancient times.
