Description
Hike along beautiful views, through the forest and look for the "Witches' Cellar"(Hexenkeller).
The starting point of the hike is in the center of the small village of Mompach. After a short while you reach a forest inhabited by many birds‘ species.
At the highest point of the path, you haves beautiful views on parts in Germany (Hunsrück) and Luxembourg (Widdebierg). After having walked for a while on a part of an ancient Roman road between Trier (D) and Altrier (L), the trail passes a small wooded area and runs past rocks with a small cave called "Hexenkeller".
